Tokyo Ladies' Consort "SAYAKA"

The Tokyo Ladies' Consort "SAYAKA" has been established in April 2000.
"SAYAKA" is exploring just intonation through a cappella works, and its repertoire covers a wide range of genres, from classical to jazz and pop.
The members of the choir are always pursuing new chorus expressions as independent creators.
"SAYAKA" has been invited to international festivals the following as a guest choir and has been well received. Polifolia International Choral Festival 2008 (France), International Choral Festival "La Fabbrica del Canto" 2010(Italy), and the 1st Asia Kodaly Symposium 2016(Taiwan) .
The choir has also been awarded the follows, the Grand Prix at Budapest International Chorus Competition 2003, the 1st prize for female choirs at International Chamber Choir Competition Marktoberdorf(Germany), and the Grand Prix and the 1st prize for classical contemporary music at the Spring Chorus Contest of the Tokyo Choral Association 2022(Japan).
