Collegium Cantorum YOKOHAMA
“Let’s start a choir with Ko Matsushita in Yokohama!” Precisely for this reason, Collegium Cantorum YOKOHAMA (CCY)was founded in 2002, and is active mainly in Tokyo and Kanagawa prefecture in Japan.
In addition to holding the annual concert, CCY also expands the range of activities not only in Japan but also overseas, to pursue the possibilities of choral art continuously. In 2012, CCY participated in the Krakow Advent & Christmas Choir Festival (Poland) and won the 1st prize in the Chamber Choir Category, and followed won the 1st prize in the Mixed Voice Category at the International Poliphonic Competition "Guido d'Arezzo" (Italy) in 2013. In 2021, the choir was awarded the Gold Award in the Sacred Music Category of the Tokyo Spring Chorus Contest.
